Brakes for track and road

We offer two types of brake pads and one type of brake disc. FF-P1 for a car driven hard on the road and occasionally on track. FF-P2 for track days and racing. FF-D3000 is a two-piece disc made to order for your car. You send us the car and caliper type, we confirm fitment and give you an exact price. Every product is available in OEM sizes as a direct replacement for the stock parts.

How they behave with heat

Friction coefficient μ against disc temperature. AK Master, step 12.1: 30 bar, 80→30 km/h. The tests ran on different rigs, so compare the shape of the curves, not the exact values.

Disc face

FF-D3000 is made with any of the four faces below.

J-hook

Curved slots that clear gas and pad deposits progressively. Smooth bite, less vibration, even pad wear. Our pick for track use.

Plain

Maximum swept area and the longest ring and pad life. Quietest. For road use and for series whose rules require a plain face.

Drilled

Slightly less mass and faster water clearing in the wet. Under repeated high heat cycles the holes become crack starters. For road use and light track work.

Slotted

Straight slots that scrape the pad surface every revolution. Stable friction through a whole session, faster pad wear than J-hook.
